Xuan Wang (pronounced as shu-wen wong) is a Master of Science student in the Human Computer Interaction/Design program at the School of Informatics, Indiana University,Bloomington. Xuan’s undergraduate major is Aerospace Engineering. During her undergraduate time, Xuan has been wondering how can technology helped enhance people’s daily life experience. Now as an user experience designer, she designs products that bring enjoyment, make people’s lives easier and happier.

Xuan believes that the understanding of what composes “an experience” and of design methods to transform the understanding into design idea is one of the key elements in obtaining her goal. Other elements Xuan thinks are important are hard work, communication skills, and fearlessness: the willingness to learn anything she needs to become a good designer.

Xuan likes cute stuff, she collect panda stuffed toys. In her spare time, Xuan enjoys playing video games, cooking, playing piano and doing little hand crafting projects. Xuan believes that a wide range of interests can bring happiness to life and benefit a designer in many ways.
